David Tibet Archangel Michael (Black) Tote Bag
Earlier this year I was delighted to be asked to present a paper on my translation and edition of an apocryphal Coptic text—The Investiture of the Holy ArchAngel Michael—which, as its title asserts, deals with this specific ArchAngel. My paper also discussed how I first became interested in Coptic, and in angelology, and in Francis Barrett and his masterpiece The Magus. For the occasion, I made a small number of totes displaying facsimiles of magical names and symbols from the first and second editions, in my collection, of Barrett's The Magus, as well as from some early grimoires. The totes are screen-printed in silver, with a different image on each size; they were available on black cotton and on white cotton.
