This piece is painted on an original page from a spare and unbound copy I have of the first edition of Francis Barrett’s 1801 masterpiece The Magus, one of my favourite-ever books. This piece was not exhibited at the Begovich Gallery and is not framed. Although the image does not show it, I have inscribed the piece’s title at the bottom edge, and also signed it there too.
Approximately 8.5 x 11 inches (21 x 28 cm).
