Swept And Garnished XXV

Swept And Garnished XXV

£400.00
14.5 x 7 inches (37 x 17.5 cms).

I began, on my Sixtieth BirthDay on March 5, to create a series of new paintings, which are all titled SWEPT AND GARNISHED. For the origin of this phrase, please see St. Matthew XII:43-45 and St. Luke XI:24-26.

White ink, black ink, sepia ink, and water drops, on thin corrugated cardboard, used to separate the different flavoured CatFood pouches in large boxes of CatFood. This piece also features David’s writing out of the text of the “Swept and Garnished” verses in St. Luke XI: 23-26 (King James Version). Signed and titled and dated on the back by David in sepia ink. Please note that this card piece is on cardboard which was folded within the CatFood box, so it does not lie completely flat, and should be framed, or pinned to the wall.

Please note - "Signed-For" (within the UK) or “Insured" (for anywhere outside the UK) delivery MUST be chosen at check-out. Otherwise the order will be cancelled and the payment refunded.
