‘All my recent BELLA paintings have been created as a result of my recent terrible insomnia accompanied by nightmares.
The main, recurrent, one is of Bella burning, silently mouthing my name over and over again—“David, David!”. And I reply “Bella, Bella?” Bella replies “David, David!”. And again I reply “Bella, Bella?” And... Fade To Wake’.
